This is a newly built spacious well appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom fully air-conditioned ground floor apartment in the ancient town of Side.
Set on a small development of 15 homes in a quiet area of holiday homes, but within walking distance of the sandy beach, old town and all amenities. The site has a secluded feel to it with some open ground around it to two sides and views to the mountains. The apartment sleeps 6 and all linen and towels are supplied.
The living area has a three seater sofa bed, a two seater sofa and an armchair. There is a dining table and 6 chairs. This area benefits from dual aspect windows and doors. There are 2 large patio doors leading out to a large balcony with a large table and chairs. The balcony has a gate directly to the pool and gardens.
The kitchen area is fully equipped with a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, full oven/grill, hob, extractor, toaster, kettle, food mixer, iron, ironing board, clothes dryer, cutlery, crockery and all kitchen utensils.
There are 2 bedrooms, the dual aspect master bedroom has a large patio door leading to a balcony with table and chairs and another door leading to the ensuite bathroom.
The apartment has a safe deposit box and all windows have shutters and there is a security guard included in our site maintenance even though there is virtually no crime.
The outdoor space has landscaped gardens with a large communal pool and baby pool with a poolside shower and WC. There is a large stone BBQ for communal use. 4 sun loungers and mattresses are provided and there is on site car parking.
Transfers, car hire and excursions can be arranged at very reasonable prices
Location
The sandy beach is a 20 min. stroll and the old town is a 30 min. stroll. The airport is approximately 45 mins. away and transfers can be arranged at very reasonable costs, so a car is not necessary. Nearby is the Saturday market, a cab rank, roads with dolmus buses, free beach buses and a medium sized supermarket. Bars and restaurants are 5 mins walk away.
The Resort
The resort has a mix of lively and laid back bars and restaurants in the old town, along the beach and near the apartment. For the dancers, there are 3 clubs in the town. The fantastic old ruins start about a 10 min. stroll from the apartment going into the old town where you can watch shows in the 2000 year old 17000 seat ampitheatre, the largest outside Asia. A few minutes drive inland will take you to the lakes and waterfalls an area of unspoilt beauty with only a handful of restaurants off the general tourist track where you can swim or take trips on the lakes. Beyond are the mountains where you can ski and climb.
